This homepage loads the Web Log (Blog) for O. Henry 6th Grade Science. The Blog will be updated weekly with the TEKS, Objectives, Vocabulary, Homework, and Announcements/Reminders for the week. Please check this website before emailing your teacher. The answers to your questions are probably here!
The Handouts tab at the top of the website will contain digital copies of the paper assignments students receive in class as well as links to websites, videos, presentations, and simulations we use in class.
The Contact Info tab at the top of the website contains information about your 6th grade science teacher.

Week 1: Science Class Procedures and Safety

TEKS: (b) Knowledge and skills (1) Scientific Investigation and Reasoning
:(A)demonstrate safe practices during laboratory and field investigations as outlined in the Texas Safety Standards; and
(B) practice appropriate use and conservation of resources, including disposal, reuse, or recycling of materials.
Bring your science composition book next week! We will set it up as an interactive science journal and begin using it on Week 2!
Return signed Safety Contract and Parent Info Sheet to your science teacher by Friday, August 25th.
